Firefighters battled with a massive fire at a townhouse complex in Richmond Hill around 1:55 p.m on Sunday. According to the reports and what firefighters experienced, the fire spread through several of the homes and it completely compromised the roof making it dangerous for them and all the others involved in this huge and devastating fire combat.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The relevant authorities dealt with the evacuation and controlling the scene. IBX Services is currently making arrangements for the condition of the residence ensuring that the properties will be restored as soon as possible.
From what our crew saw at the time of the fire, it rapidly progressed itself into multiple units, making the majority of efforts get out of hand.
It was a very challenging fire because it got into the roof structure of the building and it started to spread rapidly between the entire building as soon as it got into that area. What also was hampering the efforts to battle the fire was the sweltering temperatures.
At this point, there is no word on what might have caused the blaze. However, we’ll make sure to keep you informed regarding this devastating complex fire that happened in 75 Weldrick Road East, Richmond Hill, ON, Canada.
